It don't have to be that $750 Nikon you want with the telephoto zoomy thingy.Bummer, i may have to go serial numberless until I find a job.

Now that's what I call a detailed answer! That's JUST what I needed.
THANK YOU. Now to source the rest of the install parts and wait on that last part.
In the meantime, my son and I will be installing the new Sansui 7070 Receiver bulbs, spraying with DeOxit, and I'll be mailing those baffles for the finishing touch.
BTW - I know you guys have referenced Zaph's DIY speaker building website so I hope I'm not overstepping here... but he's got some graphs in his "Commentaries and Rants" section (scroll down on his home page to find it on the left) showing how much 'noise' is present with a tweeter flush mounted to the baffle vs. a woofer. Bottom line, he suggests little effect on the woofer, while there's considerable effect on the tweeter. (Was toying with the idea of just surface mounting both and getting it 'done', but his informative article persuaded me to send them off.)

Yes, this is the place! :thmbsp:
Notes:
a) Production boards have green solder mask making the soldering easier and neater.
b) They also have an overlay on the component side with parts designations and input/output polarities.
c) Driver leads get terminated with 1/4" Faston connectors; the holes are sized to accept 18 ga. wire.
d) If you mount the 1.5 mH I-Core inductor using #4-40 (x 3/8" - 1/2" length) hardware, the nuts can go on the component side. Use #4 flat washers, too, as the inductor mounting frame is plastic, not metal. I use nylon insert locknuts.
e) You'll likely have to scrape the enamel off the I-Core inductor leads where they pass through the board. A utility knife will do it easily; you want clean copper there for the soldering.
f) Pads of 3M double-sided foam tape cushion and secure the capacitors and the small inductor to the board. It's white and comes in 1/2" and 3/4" width small rolls from the local ACE hardware. I don't use it on the resistor, but stand that ~1/32" off the surface so air can pass between it and the board. I solder that on first with a credit card as spacer, which I remove to proceed with installing the other components.
g) Input binding posts press in from the outside through the holes provided on the rear of the PE cabinets. If you pound them in, remove the thumbnuts and cushion with a piece of scrap wood. Pay attention to the orientation of the wire feedthroughs when doing this; the knurled section locks it to prevent rotation when you install the hardware on the inside. A phillips screwdriver through the hole in the binding post will assist in lining it up accurately.
h) The hardware sequence is: binding post, cabinet wall, solder lug (provided) as washer, hex nut, toothed lockwasher, PC board, toothed lockwasher, hex nut. This secures the board and stands it ~3/16" - 1/4" off the inside of the rear panel.
i) The binding post hex nuts tighten with a 10mm socket, or, if you do it carefully so as not to damage the nearby components, long-nose pliars.
j) Secure the board from the inside at its four corner locations with nylon standoffs and wood screws of the appropriate size and length, also available at ACE. Alternatively, you can make standoffs easily by parting off the required lengths of aluminum, brass, or plastic tubing from ACE with a hacksaw. You may need a stubby screwdriver to drive the two behind the cabinet brace. I just use short (3/4" - 1") sheetrock or deck screws, as no pilot hole is required for those.
k) 1" thick fiberglass insulation is available as duct wrap at home improvement centers; I use black plenum liner from the local HVAC sheet metal fabrication shop for cabinet damping.

I have been to the Mountain...er Labs
Being one of the SF Bay local acolytes (I've been called worse..) I was granted access to Zilch Labs yesterday to pick up my kit and actually hear a pair of the Indignias.
As Shrinkboy notes the bass and particularly to me, the soundstage are amazing given the cost parameters here.
Stunning speakers; For Zilch's future safety I hope Best Buy has discontinued the original Insignias because if they find out about these derivatives, he's at great risk.
Zilch was a most gracious host and demo'ed the Indignias on a lot of different music; they impressed on everything.
I was also given a demonstration of Zilch plugs in action, where I must admit heretofore I thought were things you could not discuss in mixed company.
It was a very instructive experience and I am indebted to the Indignia developers

Zaph did the dual-woofer MTM version:I suppose we should probably change out that 7 ohm resistor, adjust the low pass crossover for 2 woofers and make a higher power handling version to rock the house when necessary.

I'm into my 3rd week with my new RayW built Indignias. He adjusted the HxWxD of the box to fit my requirements but otherwise are straight out of the book.
I'm running them off if my Pilot SA-232 for the next week or so, and its a nice combination. They replaced a pair of ejFonkens that featured Fostex FE127e drivers, so there was a marked difference from the get go.
You guys done well with this one. In the next few weeks I'll take them out of the system for a while and give them their Rosewood wrap, take some pictures, and get my SN's.

Looks like the Indignia snowball may have started rolling down the mountain. I wonder whether the PE showcase article will have any impact, too. Getting hauled around to regional events will help as well.

Depends on whether Zilch ever gets me the pictures he's supposed to so I can submit it.
