Change of pace now. Fresh out of the ultra sonic cleaner.
1969 Merryweather released 2 record. This one was their 2nd. Neil Merryweather and band, ex-pats from Canada, went to California as most Canadian artist did in the day if you wanted to make it in the industry. Story goes that Neil was driving in Hollywood where he recognized Dave Mason walking up the sidewalk. He yells out the car window "Aren't you Dave Mason" Dave says "I think so" Neil says "I'm on Capitol Records as well, want to jam"? Dave says "Sure".
So eventually some coordination happens and studio is booked and you end up with Neil Merryweather, Dave Mason, Charlie Musselwhite, Barry Goldberg, Steve Miller, Bobby Notkoff and a few others throwing stuff together since nothing had been written. The results is this jam session. Bloomfield, Kooper, Stills Super Sessions was getting airplay at that time so Jams were an in thing. Terrible record jacket though.
