His show was a riot, evidenced by his movie "A Christmas Story" and others.
You can still find recordings of his show on the interweb, and I still listen occasionally.

Just this past Tuesday my next door neighbors were just telling me about listening to Jean Shepherd's radio show back in NYC.

I miss the 80s and 90s, I miss good radio shows. I use to love staying up late and listening to Love Line and other shows that they don’t play any more.

When I was a teen in the 90s I would listen to 103.7 KRZR the wild hare.

They use to have a show called Pike or Porn….

They would read a line and you would have to guess if it was a line from a porn or a fishing show…. Was some of the funniest crap I’d ever listened to as a teen.

They also would do a show in the AM where folks would call in and try to guess what Ozzy said to win a prize.

God I miss the 90s :(

Friday FM AOR was awesome. A complete new album not even dropped yet.
