altec lansing model nine series II

I have found a set of altec lansing model nine's. anyone have info on them? They look really good. Sensitivity? Overall sound?

Hi Mark, Welcome to AK!
I have a pair of these that I refoamed the woofers and mids, but one of my mids is dead. They're 93db as far as sensitivity, do pretty well with the mostly classic rock that I listen to. Nice real wood cabinets, I like the workmanship of them.

I am looking at using them with a 15wpc tube amp. I haven't actually looked at them yet, but the pictures look very nice. Hopefully tomorrow I can a look see and listen to them. I'll let you know what happens..

They should do pretty good, I've ran mine from 5 tube watts to 200 SS.
Oil up those cabinets and they'll glow!
