Deep Kimchi was an old military term we used, that I always thought originated from the military people stationed in Korea.

Deep Kimchi was an old military term we used, that I always thought originated from the military people stationed in Korea.

Kind of a Korean version of sauerkraut, i think. Traditionally, it was fermented in a crock buried in the ground.
