Amp for Sansui G-22000

He can ask whatever he wants but whether he gets it or not is another matter?...:)

Might be a fishing expedition for the missing equipment.

Barney

That's a good point. I figure the lazy ass burglar(s) tried to lift it and figured it wasn't worth their effort. I don't think you can trade vintage audio gear for very much dope these days.

I have the front end of a g33000 sitting in the basement, bought it last year as a parts unit but couldn't bare to part it out. The amp sections don't come up for sale on ebay very often i've only seen 1 in the past year or more.

I HOPE THAT GUY DOESN'T SHOUT LIKE HE WRITES... I doubt he's fishing for the other half if he's calling folks out as burglars (at least that's not the way I'd do it-seems like the least likely way to get it back).

Now I know this amp is in very good condition my brother to very good care
of everything he owned he also had it serviced from time to time.
I know it was last in use at a 4th of july party he gave in 2011 I know and remember this event because one of the hierd band members amp whent out
and thay pluged in on his sansui to save the day. but it was still not abused
because there was older people there so the volume was at a med. level.
by the way the add on craigslist is in caps because my keyboard does not like
coffie so it would not come out of caps mode so I had to get a new one. so no
I do not shout like the add on craigslist non entended sorry. I guess I could
now re-right the add now that I have a new keyboard. also the 22000 is now $650
unless I can find the head now user-KenP said he has one in his basment
mmmmm I wonder if he will let the head unit go. you guys have a wonderful
day Vintagman.

The price is getting interesting, I'm guessing that there aren't too many tuner/pre without the amp around.

The tuner/pre that I bought was gong to be parted out and wasn't in such good condition. I had a machinist friend remake the knobs in solid aluminum and they look really good, but last time I checked there was no output on one channel, I should drag it out and check again but time seems to be in short supply right now.

I'm not sure about buying anything on craigs list and not checking it out in person, so unless your a really good packer/shipper probably wouldn't buy. Too bad since the last amp that showed up on ebay was more than a year ago.

Thanks for the input KenP I will keep it up for sale but in the time being
I will keep looking for the head reciever unit. I don't want to part with it
sense I know it works now after a interested buyer came over today and
hooked it up to his own head unit then the sale went south because
his top dollar amount was only $450.00 so he said he would be back but
then he called me again one hour later and offerd me a whopping $475.00 and that thay say was that. but one thing at least I do know it works now so that could change my mind here shortly on selling the unit. any other input would be greatly appreciated.
thanks again to user KenP....

it's worth more than $475 for sure, if my head unit was working properly I wouldn't hesitate to pay $750 or more, if one came up locally that is.

also I think his thought is if he payed to much then there is not much room for proffitt so it would not be profitable

It's possible, I'd think when these things come up the buyer should jump, but that's just me. Welcome to AK! Maybe hold onto it until a head comes up somewhere. If I had half that system I'd have a hard time getting rid of it, again just me.
