Ampex F4470 recorder

My father passed away last year and has a large collection of vintage equipment, like this Ampex F4470 recorder. Can anyone give me some ideas for finding out what these items are worth?

eBay Sold listings is a good place to start. The F4470 was fairly rare, its a F44 with built in speakers. I would look at the F44 prices and 1260 models to get an idea of what they're going for. Remember to use "Sold listings", people often ask crazy prices hoping to get lucky.
