First album, they did that one for fun... because they could. The second album Between 10th & 11th was a more mature effort but still had that youthful cohesiveness and drive. Rob Collins was a master of that Hammond B-3 and really made it jam and Brookes had some tight timing. When the single Only One I Know dropped in May of 1990 I was the first to spin that 45 on the air as a rookie (KXLV-FM) and set the airwaves (and phone) on fire. Not everyone was done with the 80's yet and they had a sound that really fit the moment. I long since left the airwaves but still have the albums, I was only one of a few left willing to spin the vinyl.
