Anyone doing a garden?

We started the Roma seeds yesterday, under the grow light. Pretty soon will be the Early Girls and Champions. Even with our terrible early grow season last year we had a nice harvest, later than usual.

My strawberries that were in planters out back all winter are showing signs of perking up. I guess it's the mild weather of the last few weeks. I'm going to make a larger planter from some salvaged wood to give them more room. Once the weather gets nice they'll get separated and replanted. Gonna have me some strawberries this summer!

I'm a bit behind schedule. To try and make up time I plan to start my tomatoes hydroponically in the grow tent to get good roots started before I pot them into soil. I put my Bell pepper I've been overwintering in there to try and bring it out of dormant state. I'm also putting a pineapple top in water to see if I can get it to produce roots and grow it into a houseplant.

Not quite an icebox here but still too cold for outside planting. Tis' the time for inside seed starting and getting the ground ready.

It would be nice if I was able to plant early crops. My garden is in a very low spot (wet) and I am lucky to get it rototilled in mid may. So I am stuck with late spring/summer/fall crops. I been eyeing some onion bulbs, might just put them in late. Green onions I need to start inside if I going to plant some & soon. They take for ever to grow from seed.

been a nice week but cold and rainy today and through the weekend.
We have a tomato plant in the front window that started as a gift from Birds in our front door hanging basket last fall.
Its wintered indoors all winter, and between the morning sun and the grow lamps, it's getting frisky -
got at least 3 little tomatoes on it, and goes through a quart of water a day! O
Its overwhelmed the pansy plant beside it!
Hoping to get it into a protected basket and keep the 'maters from birds and squirrels once it goes outdoors.
