anyone recognize this magnavox console?

[rmunson]

I have a line on an old console but the guy doesn't know what amp is in it. Anyone recognize this -- is the internal photo just the tuner?

Thanks for any help on this --

Maybe a 6v6 based?

Have them look for a printed or stamped number on the chassis. That would make this that much easier.

Thanks Gary -
am I right in thinking that internal pic is the tuner or is that the amp?

I would say that it is both.

The internal pic you show is just the tuner. The amp is separate and is mounted in the bottom of the cabinet by the speaker you see in the pic.

ok -- got some more info -- the gentelman selling it says it's a Magnavox model 134B -- anyone have a photo or know what amp this console used?
Thanks,

ok -- the gentleman says the chassis has model CR198D stamped on it.

does anyone know anything about this model magnavox amp? CR-198 D

not finding much on google... one valid reference to it --

I'm just trying to find out what kind of tubes this console has in it...

a little more info:

magnavox CR198:

1976 Sams Annual Index had a listing for a CR198A, B, C in Photofact 17-20 (1947)

[rmunson]

found a fotofact and learned:

6SK7 RF AMPLIFIER
6SA7 MIXER
6SK7 IF AMPLIFIER
6J5 DET-AVC
6J5 1ST AF AMP
6SN7 AF AMP AND PHASE INVERTER
6L6G(2x) PUSH PULL AF OUT AMPS

anyone have an opinion on what a fair price for an old console with two 6L6s would be?
