turntable model ps-lx5 receiver str-7065 sell all together only good deal believe me its old but still works just need it out of my garage have several people want to see it so act accordingly

Maybe worthwhile for the receiver, but I don't need more speakers, not to mention a crap rack.

The model above, the rather rare STR-7065, added a little power, a slightly better MM phono section (+2dB in s/n ratio) and, mostly, a supplementary meter for FM input signal strength and, even more mostly, additional LEDs set witgin the scale window that show which source is selected. The rest is identical : 4-gang varicap, a nice fat power trafo, large heatsinks protruding through the back, two pairs of Sony PNP / NPN power transistors, three pairs of loudspeakers' outputs, a separable pre/main loop. Lots of inputs, outputs and lots of hectic cabling, too.

At 3295FF (french francs) in 1973, this was the high-fidelity of the fairly rich and this still shows today - in spades.

It's a nice Sony receiver.
When we lived in the SF Bay area, "20 minutes" could be 5 blocks depending on the time of day and/or the weather... Given that we lived there 20 years ago, I am guessing a 20 min drive from you in the Sacramento area means somewhere on your own street ;-)
