App loads ever time I view AK!

Nearly every time I log into this damn forum with my ipad it switches to the app advertised top and bottom-currently some war game.
Anybody else having this problem?
Getting to the stage when I don't bother logging in. Grrr

Make sure pop ups are turned of in Safari settings.

Ok, thanks for the responses.
Pop up blocker was on but I've cleared all my cookies, and the problem seems to have disappeared along with the banners!

I don't know jack about apps or pads, but it sounded to me like settings or adware.

I had the pop up blocker enabled on my ipad but this got through somehow and was very persistent.
I don't mind ads on forums, but I think this was some sort of malware.
As I said, when I cleared my cookies it got rid of it.
