AR 11, modern version

Anyone have experience with Acoustic Research AR 11 with the side firing 8" woofers? There is a lot of info. on the vintage AR 11 but not much on the later version. Just wondering if they are good, bad, OK etc.

I have their larger, older cousins, the 312HO's....dual 5 1/4" drivers and a 1" dome in a vertical MTM arrangement, and side firing 12" woofers...excellent speakers, I think the post teledyne, pre-audiovox AR's don't get a fair shake.

the 11's probably sound very similar to mine, save missing he last 10hz of bass extension....
