They work as long as your max bid is high than the other guy sniping. I've used the services before and prefer to do it manually unless I'm going to be out of town. I just didn't put in high enough of a bid. I was uncertain of how much I willing to spend as I don't know how much it will cost to fix them.

That's why I said bid ONCE. Put in the max you will pay, then come back when it's over. Keep emotion out of it! Figure out all the fuzzies like repair costs first, then bid one time only...

You will definitely make a less intelligent decision about pricing when you are in the heat of the moment.
