Are these peerless?

i just got these micro-acousstic tweeter array for my speaker project are they peerless or japanese

Usually a driver as a serial number, and most of the time a Peerless will have its name on the side or back, usually, but not always.

Here is a site with Peerless tweeters. See if they match.
Better still, if you find a serial number on them, just type, Peerless and the number, it might give you an answer.

yea i have a pioneer cs 901 crossover some adc 10" woofs in a 3 way setup i will put uppictures when i get the cabs disassembled.i hope to get some real nice sounds from them.

It looks like only the first generation were Peerless (those don't look like Peerless to me)

Are they supposed to be Peerless? I ask that because they don't look at all like any Peerless driver I know of. (Authentic Danish Peerless, that is. Peerless of India will make just about anything.)

There are lots of Chinese, Chinese/Taiwanese and Japanese speakers that look like this. Foster, Pioneer, Mei Loon and HiVi come to mind, but there are dozens-to-hundreds of others.

Not peerless IIRC

Only the first generation Micro acoustic tweeters (Original tweeter array and early FRM-1 which are mounted in a metal frame, not a plastic one. They (MA) switched to a peerless clone (I believe matsushita - but just a guess). Looks like a peerless from the front, but has a shiny black dome. I believe Rectilinear switched to the same tweeters in the IIIb and some of the other speakers. Original peerless tweeters had a black frame with an alnico magnet and 8 ohm (or 4 ohm) marking on the tweeter cone.

Those are made in Mexico...so, no...not Peerless.

yes, kinda a disappointment, but i think they can still shine if i configure them correctly.and if not i can re-load with some good tweets like vifa's or the like. vifa and peerless are the same company right?
