Anybody have work done by audio relics. He advertises on craigslist in the Cleveland area. Does vintage audio repair. Would like to get some feedback before taking my equipment there. Thanks

I will call and talk with them. But it looks like they sell all new equipment. Most places will not work on vintage equipment from my experience.

I have and liked what they have done. I guess the word is out about them and they are 3 to 4 months back logged. Which might not be so long. But I would like my equipment sooner then that if possible. Regards Dale

I have not been there myself yet...
I have exchanged emails with him and he is quick to reply. I have heard really good things about him. Also heard good stuff about Play it Again Sam, but the 3-4 month waiting list is true.
If you go to Wooster call first, he is open odd hours.

REALLY????? Thats sad. But in all honesty I can understand why. The last few times I was in there they weren't the most polite and helpful. Seemed like all they wanted was to design full home automation 9.2 surround systems based around a 70'' TV rather than sell audio specific gear. But that is how most hifi shops are now...

Haven't utilized the tech skills, but Wooster Vintage Audio certainly has the goods. Visited them a couple of weeks ago. Their turntables are actually serviced by the owner of Lucky Records in the square downtown Wooster, in the event that's the service one needs.
And yes Audiocraft is no longer, pretty sure there was a d&s link to the auction.

I recently took my Fisher KX-200 to have it recapped and fully restored by Jim at Audio Relics. Jim did an awesome job! It has brought out a sound in my L100's and Fraziers I didn't know existed! 
Jim was very knowledgeable and explained everything in as much detail as I wanted to understand. He was friendly and upfront with what everything would cost so that there wouldn't be any surprises in the end.
Price was very reasonable for the total overhaul that he did.
I give Audio Relics two thumbs up :thmbsp::thmbsp:
