Audio Technica Cartridge

Can any one identify this Cartridge stylus...thanks for your help!

The number will be on the top of the cartridge. It appears to be a TR440SX- similar to their AT12Sa (Shibata)-however the black stylus has a Linear Contact diamond. The LC stylus is impossible to find but you can sub the ATN12Xe elliptical or ATN12S Shibata. The latter will be difficult to locate and expensive.

Wow thanks very much- I am looking at buying TD 165 and this is the included cartridge/stylus. Is it a good cartridge/stylus ..and thanks very much for your help..amazing

Yes, a very good cartridge. Only issue is that you don't know how much use the stylus has endured.
