B&W series 600i - need help with value

I recently acquired a mint condition pair of B&W series 600i speakers. I would like to know what year they sold these and what the original price was on them? Thanks for any help in advance.

The 600 series just went out of production a couple of years ago. However, they had three series, cleverly distinguished by the use of an S1, S2, or S3 suffix. I have a pair of DSM603 s3s as well as an LCR600 s3, and I freakin' love 'em. I got the demo models when my local dealer was making room for the 68X series that replaced them.

Have you been to the B&W web site? They have literature (though not pricing information) on every model speaker they ever made. http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/display.aspx?infid=773. Use the drop-down at the left to find your speakers (note that they aren't always in a logical order, so even if you don't find them at the top of the list where you think you ought to, keep looking).

Enjoy those speakers. I'm sure they're awesome.

I found them and they are the DM600i. They do sound very nice. I actually picked them up at a garage sale along with a yamaha redeiver, jvc cd player, another pair of solid speakers in white, built by B&W and in perfect shape. Also a pioneer turntable and Infinity subwoofer. All for an incredible price.

I have a pair of these. I got mine around '96 IIRC, which would be soon after the 601 replaced them. I paid $349 for a sealed B stock pair at that time. The new 601 at the time was around $450 or $550 IIRC.

Call me EXTREMELY lucky 'cause I just picked up a pair of these in fair condition for under $20.00. They do sound absolutly awsome.
