Best 2way Speakers you have owned

The original Event 20/20 passive studio monitors are my #1 to date. This post has inspired me to pull them out of storage and hook them up. I mixed tons of music productions through them but also used them for recreational listening. Number 2 are my recently acquired JBL 4406's scored at a thrift store for $35.

Probably my Altec A7-MR994s. They've ruled the roost for over 13 years and bested all competitors so far to my ears. That being said, I have some EPI 202s, Fried Model Qs, Econowaved Large Advents, and ADS L300s here that I like enough to keep.
Others that have passed through that were good or got serious time in systems were:

Dynaco A25
KLH 2
My JBL LE14 Econowave project
Altec Valencias and Carmels
Cizek Model 10s
JBL L88+ I bought new as I couldn't afford L100s
AR 4ax
DLK 1 1/2

I'd be glad to hear why your Fultons are the best two ways you've heard. I have been reading about them for decades and have never set eyes on one, much less heard one. They are well known for not looking like they ought to sound special, but their owners and reviewers think they do. Do tell.

Perhaps I should have qualified that I don't believe there's such a thing as best. Possibly just best in my mind's ear. That said, I've been an audio DIYer since the 90s and have been listening to Altec 414A/32C/802 + 755As and 755Cs. Prior to that I had LS3/5As, Quad ESL57s and also owned Snell JIIIs. To my ears, the FMI 80 presents a more natural midrange and better LF extension vs. the LS3/5A. Arguably the Snell JIII has better LF performance vs. the other two but is also much larger. I much prefer the HF performance of the primitive looking Peerless MT225 paper cone tweeter over the JIII's dome tweeter which tends to sizzle. The FMI 80 is also a lot easier to drive than the LS3/5A and the Snell JIII. Overall, the tonality of the Fulton FMI 80 and my DIY Altecs are closer to what I hear in a concert hall. I hope you get a chance to hear the Fulton FMI 80s.

Years ago I remember seeing a set of these in a closeout store in a dying mall. They were covered in a long, furry, cheetah print fabric. They had hookups only for an external crossover, and weighed about as much as if the insides were solid concrete. I don't fully remember if they were fultons, but I believe they were. Looking back on it, I kind of wish I grabbed them, but also somewhat glad I didn't. I know I wouldn't be able to bring myself to get rid of a set of cheetah upholstered speakers, but they also would not fit in to any reasonable decor so they'd never be out. Not to mention trying to clean/shampoo(?) the 40 year old faux fur...
