Best 2way Speakers you have owned

I’ve owned Time-Windows and 600s many years back, good speakers but neither particularly impressed me.

Same. When they come up for sale around here they usually sit on marketplace for a while. I only paid a buck forty for my 500's, after missing some 600's that were even less! They either didn't sell many of them in their home state, or the people who have them never sell.

Inability to remove grills to look at driver condition might be part of the reason that their listing tends to flounder before selling. I'm hesitant to investigate a pair of speakers for sale that don't have pics with their grills removed. Is the seller hiding something? There are probably a fair number of people who may feel the same way as I do but don't want to attempt refoaming. There can't be very many DCM timewindow/timeframe speakers around that don't need refoaming by now.

My main setup is a nearfield office setup, and my EPI M70s (same 6.5" woofer + masonite tweeter module as your M60s) are my end game speaker. They may not be the most high end, but they sound great with everything and are non-fatiguing. Mine have been recapped with poly caps and I actually have to turn the L-pad that I added down a little to tame the tweeter. Burhoe module two ways, especially the M50, 60s, and 70s, with the 6.5" woofer, are great.
