Best Hard Rock Number.

To same one --it's an impossible task, and that hard Rock quickly creeps into Metal makes it all the -- um -- harder pour moi to choose just a single number.

So, rather declare a "best", I'll just post something that I enjoyed hearing along w/ a dozen or so other numbers @ my "post dinner" listening session yesterday evening... it is Rock and it is Hard and it is other things too:

Yeah hard rock could gather in punk, hair, metal and other rock bands sorta easy. Your post made me look at a list, not definitive as it's open to interpretation.

Yeah, I almost just did some "Infectious Grooves", while its "hard" its probably to funky...

A couple of the best hard rock songs are almost 100 year old blues songs.
LZ's When The Levee Breaks written in 1929, Cream's Spoonful is a Willie Dixon song from 1960, borrowed from Charlie Patton's 1929 song.
Arguably the best live hard rock album ever, The Who's Live At Leeds, had Mose Allison's 1957 song "Young Man Blues", Eddie Cochran's rockabilly song from 1958 "Summertime Blues", and The Pirates 1960 rockabilly song "Shakin All Over".
