[91firebird]

Well went on a Bond James Bond film marithon, theay are all good, but the most fun is the 1966 Cansino Royal with David Nivan Sellers
and all the other comedy actors to be a fun movie.first I have watched it in years really enjoyed it forgot i had it.

For me, and this is just me as a child growing up at the height of the Cold War in the 60's - "From Russia With Love" epitomizes the Bond/Spy zeitgeist.

[DeadRock]

Casino Royale...The Craig Entry.

[waffleboy]

casino royal is REALLY good...

of the classic? I have to agree from Russia with love is terrific.

[91firebird]

Well just ad this,I had forgot this bond comedy,I guess because it is a comedy you do not think about it as true
james Bond film well is it a James Bond movie or just straight up comedy movie like Austin powers?

[Bill Ashton]

It was the first wasn't it? I remember the book as really boring...I read the first 12...no, strike Thunderball...as a teen.

[GChief]

The one if Idris Elba ever gets to be Bond.

Otherwise probably one of the DC ones.

[davidhun]

I can't help it, but I have a soft spot for the Roger Moore Bond films, because those were the ones I saw first with my parents in theaters/on video. Yes, even Moonraker.

But as a grown up, probably From Russia with Love.

[HB3]

Thunderball or Goldfinger or Dr. No or To Russia with Love or....

[FB night]

Sean Connery early ones for me, any.

[squirrelnest]

[jmchrislip]

GOLDFINGER!

[bobsvinyl]

I have to say Goldfinger just for Gert Frobe's iconic line after Bond says "You expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die." I remember seeing this film at age 13 and sweat beaded up on my forehead as I watched that laser beam move up the table.

[Descartridge]

On her majesty's secret service, in Switzerland with Diana RIgg

[Quadman2]

Best? Plot/ending/eye candy/scenery/action/special effects/acting/script/bad guy/actor fit/music background?

I didn't think I would like this new blond version of Bond, but I eventually wound up enjoying those the most. Casino Royale and Skyfall are my favorites, but Skyfall takes the win!

What I didn't know was that Daniel Craig was injured at least three times during the making of Quantum of Solace. The most prominent ones included four stitches to his face, six surgical screws to to his shoulder and the tip of one finger was sliced off. The face injury required minor plastic surgery.

[AudioAvarice]

Best of the 'serious' bond movies was Goldeneye, and was only good because it had a great supporting cast, Sean Bean was one of the best/most believable villains of the franchise.

Best of the 'serious' bond movies was Goldeneye

What do you mean by "'serious' Bond movies"?

[AudioAvarice]

Well the earlier bond films featured much more comedy compared to later iterations.

What I noticed as time progressed, was the certain superiour-style that Bond expressed. He became more...common as time went on.

His set-apart from my POV distanced him from the rest that he had to deal with.

Mind you, I was there from the beginning of his advent.
