That's how I found my PL-601, although lately they've been popping up on eBay. Wish my budget allowed for more gear. I like Carver as well.I’d like to sell one or the other to justify another amp purchase as they sound identical to me. I got the A-910 (serial number 7) first then had to have its little brother. They truly do sound fantastic and are a step up in sound from the R-661. There is some insane Russian Kyo collector who has like 2 or more of everything they ever made who said he could not tell a difference in sound bw the A-910 and the Kyo separates. I waited patiently for 3 or so years for one to show up then just so happened to log on within 30 min of it being listed and jumped on it. That was nearly 10 years ago.
