Best Marantz Pre Amp

As stated before, matching is important. I have a 33 connected to a 16 and it sounds very nice. The 3200 sounds a bit too bright for my ears but I do like using a 1060 integrated as a pre for the 140 power amp over the 3200. I had a 3600 but just didn't care for it. I gave it to a fellow AKer. Even though the 3200 is bright, I like it better than the 3600.

Just had one of my 3600's restored. Money well spent.....it's everything I knew it could be. Soundstage grew big time, clarity and precision improved without losing the Marantz 'warmth' and imaging is dead center and tight.

Definitely gonna get my other one restored as well.

Oh don't get me wrong all my pieces get recap and pamper. When I say I have the largest SAE all are recap and as new
