Best replacement for TOWA power supply capacitor.

Hello.

I recently obtained a JVC sea r7 equilizer looking under the cover everything looked clean except one of the power supply capacitors looked like hell.

As you can see from the picture the cap did not leak from the top but it looks lumpy all over. Somthing I never seen before. When I tested it, it tested in spec but I'm not taking any chances.

I was surprised to see the brand is TOWA. In all the JVC equipment I've worked on all JVC used was elna capasitors. As far as I know TOWA was bought out by Nichicon a while back and are no longer manufactured. So do you guys know any good replacement capasitor for this. I don't want just some General pourpose one I would like one that would just be a good fit for the SEA R7.

It is a 35v 2200uF capasitor. It says CE ON THE SIDE.

simce it is a power supply cap any 2200mfd 35V should do it. An EQ is not a power eating application so no special treat here. Maybe look for higher voltage rating like 50V and idiots dimension is the same go for it.
