Poultrygeist, you seem to have a wonderful range and variety of OB speakers. I'd love to read a break-down of which speakers you currently use, and their drivers. Plus, I'm curious if they have passive or active crossovers? OB speakers are definitely a design that I'm interested in trying. OB and line array speakers keep calling me, and I think I need to address that soon! :agree:

OB woofers: three pair of Eminence Alpha 15A and one pair of 16" Sansui ( Sansui woofers not in use )
OB tweeters: B&G Neo 3, Eminence ASD 1001 and Realistic 40-1310A super tweeters
Subwoofers: a pair of DIY Bucket Subs, and two DIY Dayton Reference
Active crossovers: Ashly XR-1001 and Behringer CX2310

Thanks! I appreciate the reply. I was wondering what woofers you used. Eminence seems to be the top recommended OB woofer. I should try a pair. Plus, I have about a dozen of the Monsoon NEO planar drivers. I wonder how'd they work? They should be fine, I would think, as Monsoon marketed them in OB systems. Maybe a line array, with OB woofers? What's another project, among many!

To the OP, I have a single Martin Logan Fresco speaker. It has BG Neo8 and Neo3 planar drivers. I use it as a center speaker, for my Monsoon FPF tower speakers. It a nice sounding speaker, but it didn't match to my Monsoon's as closely as I'd hoped. It's a bit 'chesty', and heavy through the lower mids. I don't know if the chestiness is more due to the mid-woofers running too high, or the Neo8 being used too low? They're quick and clean sounding drivers though. Not as bright as the Infinity EMIT tweeters I've owned. A little more relaxed.
