Bose 121's...any good?

Saw a pair of 121's going cheap, exterior veneer coming off. So...are they any good?

It's a full-range speaker, driver looks similar to 901 driver in a ported enclosure but no EQ. I wouldn't expect much in the way of highs (remember that Bose never published specs for the consumer speakers).

I think it looks like a 101 or a 151 in a nicer cabinet. Those sounded pretty good, but I don't think I'd get involved with one that needs a bunch of work

Reveneering is not much of a problem. I'm thinking of using these mounted either side of the tv, with it all hooked in to my amp.
