Bose 201v woofer surround material ?

What material is the woofer surrounds on the Bose 201 series v speakers made from ? Some say it's foam and others say its treated cloth . If anyone know the answer please post response . Thanks

Sure looks like foam to me. Cloth with a rubberized coating was used in the 60s to early 70s so I'm sure they're not cloth.

I have 301 series v. I think they're foam. They are almost the same, although the 201v are 6.5" while the 301v are 8". I think...

Foam. At least on one that I punched a hole through back when I sold Bose products...
