Anyone here using the Eros? Am a fan of the 6922/6JD8 tube sound and need another phono-preamp. How good are the Bottlehead kits? Any reason to upgrade any of their supplied components? Transformers good? Thanks.

The Bottlehead kits are fantastic, very easy to understand assembly instructions. Build the kit stock, use it for a while then upgrade, you will hear a difference. I have the Foreplay, Seduction, Quickie and SEX amp, all sound great and very fun to build! All worked first time around, never be in a hurry, just take your time assembling the kits. Take a look at their forum, all your questions will be answered.
