Worth looking at? Most def. The drivers alone, if working, are worth the price.

From the description w/o pictures, they sound to me like 302A in a "GEM" style cabinet. The 'GEM' was sold in the 1950s as a kit version of the 300-302, prior to the introduction of the very much more common 24" x 24" x 24" cube version of the 302A.

Hard to tell if paper or metal unless you tap them with the back of your fingernail... lightly... I had aluminum and didn't realize it until I tapped the cones after I read they could be aluminum...

WELL worth the price so long as everything is working.

It's actually pretty easy to tell - the black latex coating on the aluminum is a lot shinier than the paper - and the paper tweeters have bare aluminum dust caps.

 On both counts.
And all the paper drivers I've ever seen tend to have a faded mottled brown/yellowy color to them. The aluminum drivers tend to flake before they really fade, and when faded that don't look anything like the paper cone fade.

Methinks you should go listen to/buy them - quickly. I have these exact drivers in Barzilay cabinets and they sound great, especially with the crossover updated.

 And even if these do have the paper drivers as mine do. They are quite easily and fairly cheaply, upgraded.
But I don't believe the mids on these are paper, since a 209B is definitely the aluminum version.
The paper version was the 209 w/o any suffix, or the 209A.

Can one tell by the serial # when Bozaks were manufactured? I am looking at E02230 for an Urban B303A.

I was wrong. They are not Bozak GEM/kit cabinets. Those were custom built.
And judging by the silver stickers on the drivers, and the ceramic magnets they appear to be at least late 1960s vintage, no earlier than say '67-'68.
Which would mean they are most def the aluminum cone versions.
