The cabinets and grills look nice to,maybe if you had a pair with BEAT cabinets,or an original pair of woofers they might be worth messing with,but not at that price.
Assuming you could remove the baffles without DESTROYING the cabinets,and make new ones.

Yes not good at all, atleast the realistics will be easier to find replacements for in the future .

If it was me i would have went with a 18'' woofer.that way you could have covered up that nasty hole in the front.

Just go ahead and part them out and get it over with.

If i could get them for 200-250, since they already have been carved out for a 15 inch driver i'd try to shoehorn Altec 3154 in there. Cabinet needs a stout brace behind what little baffle is left between the port and woofer. For a reasonable price, they have a lot of potential. Remember, the top section of the cabinet is only held to the bottom portion by two 1/4 inch bolts.
