Calling All Yamahas. Time to Post Your Pics

I have to say, Yamaha really nailed the design. There may be better-looking amps and receivers than these vintage CA and CR series, but I can't immediately think of any.
They certainly did. This beauty replaced my Technics SU-8080, which is no slouch in its own right, the everything about this thing is simply "top shelf". It seems as if Yamaha spared no expense in every category. The case...Walnut, full brushed metal front panel, metal knobs and switches...not one single piece of plastic to be found...the tactile "click/feel" of all the switches and knobs are fully felt...nothing "mushy"...And the gauge panels? Glass...no plastic...

One would be hard pressed to find engineering and workmanship of this caliber in many modern amps/receivers today.

And that's just for starters, ya know?

The C-4 is back. Had a cold solder joint in the power supply that I would never have found. All is well again!
The C-4 has a really nice sweet and warm sound and once you get used to it it's hard to set aside. My B-5 (Japan M-2) is currently out of service (kerthunk noise at startup...) but hoping to get it over to the repair shop soon so I can get the wonderful C-4/B-5 pair going again. My C-4 required many visits to the shop but in the end it turned out to be a bad cap in the phono section causing all sorts of problems.

The four level becomes a fiver...plus a CDX-900u:

I also tucked the HA-1 that Asmodeus worked on for me on top of the 900u (not in view) but will need to get extra cables to finally hook it up. Also built a six tier beast from two sets of the Monolith XL racks but will require much work to shuffle it into it's finally destination at the back of the room.

RX-396RDS stereoreceiver
RX-V361 AV-receiver

A pair of NX-E800 speakers (in use with the stereoreceiver, terrific speakers)
A pair of NS-125 (in use with the AV-receiver as back-speakers)
Some other small surround system Yamaha speakers.

Wasn't really looking, but this just got posted on Marketplace by a young man close by that was "downsizing" and the price was simply too good to pass up given the exceptionally nice condition of the unit(even have the recent service receipts for the recapping and new lamps)...
