Can you ID the small tweeter? The horn is an RP-103, I think. The woofer was easy, because the stamped model was very clear. But, the small tweeter is the tough one. I'm going with another AKer on Friday to grab this. I really just want the Heathkit gear out of it, but I figure the rest of the stuff will get used somewhere down the road.

Well, I'd researched the heathkit gear, and figure - once restored - the two pieces can safely be valued at $500-$700... but, they won't include wood cases or be restored, so... I'm banking on a flip of the furniture and speakers to help pad the costs associated with getting the heathkit gear running right.

Well, I picked it up, with a little help from a fellow AKer. We'll see what happens to everything, but I'm hoping to use the pre-amp at the very least. The tuner might also stay. The other side had some University speakers, which both sucks and is a blessing. It means no matching pairs, so I can't sell off the Jensens for a mint, but... I could actually use a better University 15", because my Acoustic Batons had one that needed some serious repair. Maybe this was a higher power telling me to finish rehabbing the Acoustic Batons?!?

The keeper is the preamp it was the totl and heathkits last tube preamp.the heathkit aj 41 is a good tuner and also their last stereo tube tuner with built in mpx adaptor. I have both units and will never sell.

Whoever knocked those Heathkit legatos is not being realistic and knows nothing about good speakers. Some speak without knowledge

Perhaps opinions were different in 2014... when that comment was posted.

FWIW, there were no Legato's being offered. I posted the pic of them so that others could see the cosmetic relationship to the console in question.
