Canada Day

Youse Canucks have yrselves one Jim-Dandy celebration ! And we won't mind a bit if y'all happen to "Carry it Over" to the 4th of July...

And, for those of you who don't follow sports, you'll be glad to know that the Boston Red Sox, in a gesture of appreciation, treated the hometown Toronto Blue Jays to an 11 - 2 win today. Needless to say, the Toronto crowd was ecstatic.:thmbsp:

I thought it was a nice touch that the Sox had little Canadian flags sewn to their sleeves.
 
I have been blessed to be able to spend time in some of the world's greatest cities. For me, none top Montreal. We honeymooned there and in Quebec City in 1979, mainly because my parents did the same in 1953. We have been back more than once since. I'm always amazed at how few Americans think about Montreal as an "overseas" destination.

Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton. and Hamilton have also been good to us.

Belated Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the north.
