Which browser are you using on your desktop? Maybe try another one?

I went into settings and the only option I had was safari. It’s a 2011 27 inch iMac…

Edit… I was able to change from google to DuckDuckGo, It didn’t change anything so I’m back on Google

You require a either a complete OS refresh or complete reload to the newest version.

I get the same white screen on my IPad. No box to check either.

Refresh/restart did nothing Nothing.
Check for updates… Indicated there was one incompatible.
Modem/router was due for a reboot… Everything seems to be running faster and smoother a little, but still get the white screen of death.

Might be Time for a new Computer has this one is 16 years old and I can’t put a new operating system in it

Apparently you can access AK on your iPad but not on your older iMac. Perhaps you want to access via the iMac because of the larger display. If so, before looking to invest in a new computer have you looked into the possibility of connecting your iPad to your 27" iMac to effectively run the iMac as a larger external display for the iPad? How this is done may vary depending on the models and available connectivity interfaces.

100%. On looking at a 27 inch display instead of a 9 inch display. OS on the iMac is 10 point something and can’t be updated… OS on the iPad is 16 point something and that gives me the box. to check.

Your operating system has been out of support since 2023 and the browser hasn’t been updated since 2024 - probably time to upgrade to make cloudflare happy.

A quick google search shows that you should be able to update chrome to the latest version 150, any reason why you are using such an old version?

Did not see Cloudflare before, saw it today, it successfully verified my humanity. Still, forbidden.

No plans to upgrade. Why this forum needs Cloudflare anyway? I hate these stupid checks popping up everywhere. There is nothing interesting for AI on this forum.

I understand not upgrading the device (not the best idea since the OS isn't getting security patches anymore, but hey) but why would you continue to use such an old web browser when there is a later version that is up to date with security patches and todays web standards? I wouldn't be surprised if updating the browser got the site working for you.

I loved Netscape Navigator but I can't use it on today's internet... same thing with your old version of Chrome.

"There is nothing interesting for AI on this forum" isn't true at all. Do a google search on anything vintage audio related and you'll see the Google AI results scanning the whole web including Audiokarma since it's got so much info accumulated over the years.

I’ve started to get my own posts read back to me on some of the AI search summaries..

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but I cannot view Kegger's memorial page, nor can I view Jamanaa's second thread. Both give me a forbidden message. Possibly there are others, but I didn't click them all.
