I am still having crazy issues right now. I can log in but then it does not show me as logged in. I can go certain places and it shows me as logged in (like here). Last night I was trying to get to a thread that I had recently started about my Technics SU-V707. I was going to respond to a comment. I can't do that. I keep getting all kinds of errors. This is the worst it has ever been. Not sure what is going on and I was trying to get a hold of the mods but I have no idea if that worked either. At best right now this place is semi-functional. I can't even log out. My son says it is probably a caching issue on the server side. No idea if CloudFlare is involved in this dysfunction or not.

I understand that you are frustrated, but stating that you tried to get ahold of the mods “but had no idea if that worked either “. You responded to the PM and know that yes, we are aware and yes, we are working on it.
It is difficult when someone has a problem and posts about it in multiple threads. It takes us time to chase down all the information that is needed to correct the problem.
We are working on it.

55 pages of Visitor Bots right now. 
Look folks things can only get better. I haven’t had access in months but I won’t trash the site. DDoS attacks are rampant and will require cloudflare updates to keep members safe. I know it doesn’t seem like it but I’m sure the admins are working hard. If Mrs Grumpy has to come into the thread and reassure you, which she shouldn’t to do repeatedly, then move on and try the site at a future time. I still believe the site should come down for a short period, scan for malware, and perform a fresh install of this new revision, but I’m sure the admins know better than 99% of us (including me for sure).
I hope it gets better. I will try to go set a brand new bookmark and see if that makes any difference. Right now I am obviously logged in but when I go to General Discussion I am seeing this...

Glad the CacheBuster extension got you fixed up.
FYI, just tried to log in after a reboot with Mac OSX 15.7.3 and Firefox 149.0 and was told to refresh and try again...ad nauseam. Got into this thread, and couldn't post (because I was't logged in), but clicked the login button within the thread and was able to log in...and post this. I wish the mods well with all this crazy crap they're dealing with!
Yeah, I had similar issues trying to navigate the site. In some forums I could not post. In others I could. Also I could not get to messages unless I was in certain forums. And then that would change. I don't know if there is anything like CacheBuster for OSX... You might look around for something.

Makes me wonder if the current highly problematic/issue rich A/K server is/was the lowest bidder for the gig ?
The only way I can half ass navigate A/K is use "Microsucks" "Sludge" (EDGE) browser, while had been using DuckDuckGo browser the other day I was refused to be even able log off by the forum in disgust, after having been timed out and half of my earlier post (third occurrence !) deleted after being forced to prove I`m not a bot by Cloudcrap during it`s refresh confirmation !
If I`m forced to store somehow (don`t know how, and will not care to learn) my post for preservation as protection of partial deletion, that is not what I would call fluid use/navigation of the forum !
And I`ve noticed recently that the morning new post page count has dropped from an average of 17~18 to as low as 11, so it would appear metaphorically that the rats are jumping ship and more bots activity than visitors/members, it would seem !
I`m starting to seriously question my participation in a frustration rich online experience environment !

Yet today I came here to claim maybe they got it worked out as I have had no issues since last night. No more checking to see if I am human, and no more site down issues. I would imagine someone has been working on the issues, and for the life of me I don't know what some hackers would find profitable on this site, I would rather hit a bank or somewhere that I could do a massive bank transfer.
Anyway just giving my input and thanks to the working going on, seems like someone figured out something to improve the issues.

I don't think it's for profit. I suspect that some are state sponsored (a foreign country) to scrape as much data as they can to use against us. That's why I don't put much personal information on here.
Could be getting dangerous. Btw after a total reformat of my machine I’m able to reach the site. It logs me in as @coonmanx and errors when I try to log in. Btw Manx I didn’t snoop and will never do it.

Try to be be patient, it's a work in progress.
AK does not have big money investors behind it nor do they have a well paid, 24/7 backroom technical staff.
The mods & admins (volunteers) are doing their best so try not to rant, threaten leaving, or question AK's alleged purchase decisions.
