Carmels?

I responded to an ad for a pair of Altec Carmels. The seller revealed that inside each cabinet is 1 605
A speaker. A quick search indicate Carmels should have 2 x 414 plus an 811 horn. Could someone shed some light on this?

I believe for some reason Altec used the name Carmel twice over the production years. Not sure why.

Seems to suggest that Altec sold the Carmel cabinet without drivers and suggested it worked well with the 605A. A few examples can be found on the net with the 605A in a Carmel cabinet.
