Carver TFM-35 meter light

Does anyone know how to change the meter light in a carver tfm-35 power amplifier? The meters work fine, it's just the light is out. Any input would definitely be appreciated.

You'll have to take pics of the insides. Then we can see how it might be serviced.
That, and I like to see the insides of gear~!

I have a tfm45 that also had meter light problems. These aren't a simple plug and play item and are prone to failure due to where they get their power from. My solution was to strip down a pair of led nite lites from wally world and install them for less than $5.00.

Sorry for the delayed response, sometimes work gets in the way of things we want to do. I've pulled the cover off and identified where the bulbs are. They are on top of the meters, soldered to a board that's easily removable and simple to switch out. the weird thing is the bulbs aren't burned out. the filaments are still intact. Everything else on this amp seems to work, so I'm curious if there is a loose connection or something. Again, any input would definitely be appreciated.

That's always a dilemma. I have a lamp out on my Luxman L-430. Dgwojo is the guy to contact on AK.

I've replaced these with 12v 100 mA axial lamps. Pretty common. Once the lamp board is removed it's quite simple to replace these. Do them both or regret it later, the new lamp will be brighter than the old one...

Hello
Do you know the correct Carver TFM meter lamps> I thought it was 8V at 250ma? Thanks
Anthony

I have refreshed a half dozen of these and I always forget the meter light voltages...

Per the service manual: 12V 0.15A
