Changing crossover in Sansui sp 2500x

I changed the crossover and no change in the sound. No bass, no mid, and the tweeters sound really bad. What do I check next. The dude who sold me the crossover said they were out of a working speaker. They looked really good and did not have the oxidation the old one had. The old crossover looked really bad and the dial was frozen it seamed like the obvious problem

There should be some sound coming out of the woofer unless the solder connection is not good. Could it be the drivers themselves? Fried? Did the drivers work before?
When I first hooked them up they sounded like they do now but after tightening the connection they worked fine but amp protection would kick in at high output. They worked fine at low output before they quit. The old crossover was so nasty I thought that was it. The drivers were working but I quess they could be fried. But would they all fry at once?
There is probably more going on here and it will require a little Sherlock Holmes work on your part.
Do you have a multimeter? If not you can get one very cheaply at places like Harbor Freight.
Post some pics of the crossover and the back of the drivers, and the rear panel input connections. There are various things to check - wiring, connections, driver voice coils. We can help guide you through it but you'll need a meter to diagnose. These are fixable, the only question is exactly what is broken.

I noticed you said 'the dial was frozen'. Was that an attenuator for the mid or tweeter? The new one may not be frozen but it may be dirty or corroded inside. Would be a good idea to clean them with some DeOxit spray.
If amp protection is kicking in that's very suspicious. Does the woofer move in and out when you gently press on the cone with your fingers?
