Christian Music Playlist

A mix I put together:

There is absolutely no reason why someone who enjoys country music has to give that up when giving one's life to the Holy One. Rather, love for this genre can only get more intense. Please enjoy folks...

Not a big country fan, but this song along with Kris Kristofferson's testimony was awesome. Thank you Rich for sharing and thank you Jesus!

Question: Do you ever actually listen to the mixes I post here? Each mix is the result of many hours of work, in hopes that someone, besides me, will gain some enjoyment out of them. If you do, let me know, as that makes all of the work worth the effort.

I responded some time ago (post #342) to a previous mix. Christian music is personal to me, and gospel music takes me there where I feel the touch of the Holy Spirit. Nothing personal, just my preference is all.
I have listened to some of your other playlist selections on YT and the jazz choices are cool.

This Susan Ashton album is an amazing recording which used some of the best Nashville musicians at the time. Some amazing lyrics to boot.

Did not know this thread existed until now.
How about some Darrel Mansfield?
I have a rare live recording from when he was in Philly at the Graterford prison. Also played at Calvary Chapel where I saw him.

Costa Mesa? Year? We went there back in the day.

A mix I put together (41 good cuts in there):

This mix sort of tracks my musical journey, soon after I gave my life to the Holy One, back in '86. I went from not knowing there even was the kind of music I could groove on as I grew, to being deeply touched and moved by what I discovered along my early path. I hope you will find these cuts to be as inspirational, encouraging and uplifting, as I do.

Please Note: This is a new development (a/o 12/19/24). If you have your ad blocker on for this site and for YouTube at the same time, the player above may only show and play the first cut in the playlist. If you turn off your ad blocker for either site, the above player will again show and play all the cuts in the playlist.

Enjoy,
