What's you got on Colored Vinyl?

There are some new reissue Colored Vinyl LPs of Captain Beefheart, The Ramones, New York Dolls, Velvet Underground that I have my eye on, but--

What old classic stuff you got?

Are you speaking of vinyl picture discs?

I've got twenty of those hanging on my wall in frames.

Edit: I'm thinking, no.

I've got that Elvis album with the blue, see-through vinyl.

I'm told if you have it in the standard black vinyl it is more collectible.

Was the "standard black" vinyl the original pressing and the colored came later?

Interesting--does anyone know if Colored Vinyl sounds the same, or is it an inferior pressing?

I only have three, two red and one white/clear. The reds are original pressings of Rush Hemispheres and Steely Dan Aja, the white/clear is a reissue of Black Sabbath Master of Reality. They all sound excellent to my ears, no different than black vinyl.

My coolest one is Jimmy Witherspoon Sings The Blues on Red Vinyl on the Crown label. It's the only Crown Record I have ever found on Red Vinyl.

I got this.. Black and White, by The Stranglers... Good tunes too...

Don't forget that old Dave Mason lp...what was the title again? Anyway, that had fantastic swirl vinyl. And' of course, all the 1970's bootlegs that came in every color combo imaginable. Yesterday I picked up the new lp "The Miracle Workers - Moxie's Revenge." Great orange vinyl!

Janes Addiction ~ s/t on XXX Records clear vinyl

Stryper ~ Soldiers Under Command - White vinyl(it was my brothers but I dug the white vinyl so I kept it)

I think I have a few: a mono Nazz on red vinyl; Kate Bush's Hounds of Love on white; the aforementioned Dave Mason; and at least a couple others I can't recall without leafing through the albums.

Thinks without going upstairs to check:
Peter Green "In the Skies" LP (green vinyl)
Steve Hillage "Green" LP (green vinyl, of course!)
Jethro Tull "A Stitch in Time" 45 rpm single (white)
Horslips "Loneliness" single (green, shamrock-shaped!)
Bill Nelson's Red Noise "Furniture Music" EP (red)

Used to have Horslips "The Man who built America" single on yellow vinyl, but it disappeared years ago.

Faust - Faust, clear vinyl and sleeve give it an X-ray effect. Really great idea, and even better music. I have a recent pressing, the original goes for well over $100.

Isis - Panopticon has transparent blue vinyl.
Isis - In the Absence of Truth has a gold / black color scheme.

and a few others I can't think of

Neil Young "Harvest" (tan vinyl)
Todd Rundgren "Hermit of Mink Hollow" (red vinyl)
Alan Parsons Project "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" (yellow vinyl)
