I do. I was worried with incandescent bulbs being outlawed, but it's been great. I'm energy efficient and haven't had a short since

get a 60w and 100w incandescent bulb for the dbt. cfl's dont work well in a dbt.

Another 780 has made it's way into the shop. Made in Japan! Couple Marantz players as well.

Wow I'm impressed. This is my first listen to this or any vintage Pioneer. Definitely has a sound, is this the Pioneer sound? Got it playing through a pair of Advent Legacys that I rebuilt. They've sounded lackluster through both a Sansui and Hk430 that I'm testing. That's being kind, they sounded harsh and taxing. Well hour later and I'm enjoying Tom Petty's Wildflowers. So there you go.

As I was wrapping this one up I had a chance to fire up the other 780 that I just picked up. Works! Both channels! Since the first came to me fried I'll do a side by side before I go through it.

Glad I increased q25 and others hest sinks. These guys do run warm!
