CR1020 voltage issue

Haha yes it was! I just cleaned and worked the controls some maybe that will help it out

Check the collector voltages of the 4 output transistors. Should be around +/- 49vdc. +B and -B can be measured carefully** on the output transistor's metal cases.

**----- Don't short the metal cases to the heatsink --- You will regret it.

I got 47 vdc on all 4 output transistors but cant get the speakers to play any louder than a whisper.

Preamp power supply +/-25 rail now both ok after TR714 fix?
Try setting coupler off and connecting a iphone (or whatever) at minimum volume to the main-in then slowly crank up the vol on the iphone...

the coupler was extremely oxidized for some reason a little contact cleaner snd deoxit and everything is right in the world. Now i just gotta wait on this left channel amp card to come in and it should be all good.
