Craiglist Find

Found these are craigslist, they seem very unique, Is it worth investing ?

Quite a bit overpriced IMHO. A GREAT speaker but these can be had for much less. I do see that they are the mirror imaged version. I don't know what that does for the value, though.

I do like the way they look, i also found some Polk Monitor Tens for $150 a pair, its hard to choose.

Do a search on AK or Google for the DQ-10's and you will get an endless barrage of results. They are a VERY well respected speaker. I had the DQ-28's and loved them. I picked up a pair of DQ-10's from an AK'er for $200.00 and they were near mint. They sound heavenly but love plenty of juice.

I would sure love to pick these up but for the price and what you paid, i can see if i can find another set cheaper.

I'm not saying that $200.00 is the norm but $475.00 might be too much.

There was a pair on CL here in CT advertised for $220.00. I had to pass. No$$$

I'd offer $250 and see what happens. Make sure the woofers have been refoamed first, if not they most likely will need it.

I had a pair, nice then I traded them in for a pair of Vandersteen Model
1s even better, I think the Model 1s are about 450 now. When I check Ebay.

I agree they do need a juice but they don't sound that bad with 100-150 wpc....

Anyone got the ones with the sub-woofer and Dahlquist crossover? How much does that improve an already great speaker?
