Creation of a music lounge

Super! How does it sound compared the the previous room you had the gear/speakers in?

Sincerely I could say full of thing but the only thing which I keep in mind is that everything is simply more accurate/linear.

I feel the most satisfying feeling of accomplishment when a large project is complete, this looks like quite the project and you must be feeling quite the satisfaction.

Congrats, it's beautiful.

All you need now is a turntable to finish decorating that nice cabinet you have now!

Looks really nice

I put the hand on the Grant Fidelity CD-1000 Impression II Tube CD Player. I trade-in my Consonance D-Linear 7 and 8. It had been a long time since I wanted a good reader and I did not beat around the bush, I am really exited !
I thought hard about the TT Consonance LP6.1. But on second thought, I preferred to go with a good reader. I am already enough invests in cds and so little in vinyl. Then I believe that is going to be a project for much more late. Picture to follow for sure ! :thmbsp:

That is a FANTASTIC cd player!!!! I am sure it will sound brilliant....Make sure you pop in that new Marillion CD, I bet Gaza will sound amazing on that player.

I really thought about the LP6.1 TT too.....but I am glad I got the Music Hall.

Looking forward to your impressions of that CDP.

The 4th of the album Power sound so powerful, sorry for the bad qualifier but indeed that is going to be one of first cd whom I am going to test.

Did i say that thing weigh 50 pounds ?

Yes I love the begining of Power, the bass lines are going to sound like they are in your room!!

50lbs....well built, sturdy.

I love the view out the window as well as your system.

If i were you, I would mount the Tv much lower - optometrists say that our eyes are most comfortable when looking down about 10-15 degrees, and not up.

Perhaps you can find another place for the Grant Fidelity, and put the TV right on top of the table...

Might want to experiment with that.

Congrats on a great looking man's cave - I wish it was mine - someday, I will build a even neater one, so there...haha (just kid)

Great looking room, inspirational even.

I had a similar thought, however if audio is the priority the current arrangement is a good compromise.
