CS350 vs XR27 center, RonC?

Which is a better center, with LS360 speakers?
The CS350 center seems voiced the same as LS line, and is non fatiguing. (Own it and happy)

But I hear the XR27 is much better from resellers!

XR27 will have more bass as it is bigge, has more woofers and a larger midrange. If you are crossing over at 80 Hz the two will be similar in response but the XR27 will play louder.

Being I cross with 2 JL113's at 80hz with the CS350 would the XR27 be a big improvement with sound quality or just play louder as stated above.
Mine seems loud enough now...

I think you had this LS, CS combo Ron at one time.

If it will be a huge dynamic change, then its a move I need to make.
As most of the HT sound comes from the center speaker.
If it is going to throw off the LS synergy for 5.1 music, I will pass.

Being that a Salesman would say buy the XR27, it will bring the magic or offer a new product.

No flame on, but I have met him, for hours, not a meet and greet.

He represents McIntosh but will give opinions that might go against the grain. Which makes him credible, verses pure salesman.
