They look well built.. although I would question the number of drivers in use and what they actually achieve .

To build a "quality" custom speaker takes time, some degree of planning and research, and a place to slop up as you go through the various stages of construction !

Not saying this lightly... as I have constructed two models to date, that were very well built and perform admirably. However, given the amount of time and materials invested, since that time I have managed to acquire "second hand" about eight pairs of speakers, at less than a 1/4 of the cost or repair, and they performed just as well.

So just saying... before you go that route of "customization"... there are other options .

There are also loads of know-how on both subjects via the INET!

I see nothing wrong. Tweeter and two woofers: good old d'Appolito speaker design.
Many many speakers were built like that. The bottom two "round" thingies are obviously bass ports which IMHO are ugly, but....

Understand your perspective... I am a little bit of a purist, believing an individual driver, tuned via the crossover and rated by power and efficiency accordingly, is more than enough for a given part of the audio spectrum. However I could see where a dual driver, properly phased and positioned, can accomplish the same.

And OP Music... I am considering your request!

For anyone with average DIY skills building your own speakers, especially from a well designed kit, should be pretty easy. Just do your research before hand so you buy they type of kit that will suit your preferences. Parts Express and Madisound will have a large selection to consider.
