"Custom" SX-1250

[big1daddy]

Never seen one of these before. Is it a personal customization?

I think the same ones keep being re-sold. Maybe nobody wants to keep them? Personally, I wish they'd go away. I'm old fashioned.

Moved to D$S.

There is a website you can make inquiries about customizations made on big old vintage pioneers.I've seen a few of these in the last year or so,and, although most people don't care for the look(me included!) it does seem to drive the price up on them.I don't get it,and I don't care for it. Here is the site responsible:

Still has the old caps in them --I would be more intrested in updated innerds than cosmitec looks.

I was thinking it was sad for someone to put in that much effort to then have to sell it.

I totally agree with that statement.

Hey its not original, but it is very well done. I wouldn't do it to a nice condition one, but what about saving a cosmetic wreck of a 1250?

Gotta be the same one listed over and over.

I agree, or it's someone defacing a bunch of 1250's:thumbsdn:

Wow "Pimp My Pioneer" could be a new MTV show. Sad just sad.

"Rose" is back! Could it be that there are more than one?! (doubtful)

Damn thing must have some issues to keep getting passed around like some drunk girl at a frat party. Where's the love for Rose?
