DCM Time Frame 500

What's your opinion on these speakers? How do they sound, bass? mids? highs?

Like them more than Heresy's?

Is there anything to look for when i go take a look at them? I've read that the foam covering the cabinets can need replacing, besides the obvious check to see if woofers need re foaming.

The price just dropped so im pretty set on checking them out, just want to make sure they are in decent shape.

It was a pair of TF 500's that lead me to appreciate DCM speakers.
Since you won't be able to see the drivers I recommend the following;

- Take a flashlight. You often shine directly on the grill sock and see the condition of the drivers.

- Try audition them with some Bass heavy music. A lot of distortion will let you know there is a problem.

- Bring a toilet paper or paper towel roll that you can place in front of the tweeter to make sure it is working.

If everything is working they are a great pair of speakers!
