Denon DP-62L offer?

Good luck with that... he knows market and isn't going to jump for less. Typical to put something on CL and expect eBay pricing, but it is a turntable and people don't like to buy them where shipping is involved, and his market area is probably big enough to get decent buyer response.

It's an excellent table and it has all of the right parts with it, and it looks pretty nice. If you don't care for that set of cartridges, he's not doing you any favors by bundling them into the price, though.

He's also running an auction on Craigslist, which is prohibited.

$400? For that? Frigging grab it!

I figured based on the listing he'd be looking for that and then some for the table, let alone the rest of the parts.

Yea, looks like he's trying to drive up the price too by saying someone offered him a higher price. I'll pass. Thanks.

OMG!! Give him the money and don`t look back! You won`t be looking for another TT anytime soon, guaranteed. I have a DP-52F and a DP-790 and I would be tempted to trade both for this grail.

I did offered him $400 for it, which is way over what I'm looking to spend for TT at the moment as money is kinda tight. Will see what he says.

I use a DP-62L daily - it is a great table and I don't see myself ever getting rid if it.

I've also picked up a few for backups that ultimately ended up on ebay. Based on current prices, my "personal ebay bluebook history" & considering the carts included & the original box $500 is a fair deal - especially if he has the original box and all of the accessories.

Interestingly enough (to me anyway), I have a pic of my DP-62L spinning the same record as the CL poster - Rush - Hemispheres...nice!

The previous listing was flagged - he's relisted it as an auction.
I'd say worth the $500 especially with all those accessories but at a certain point you've got to say no.
Yes - I have one!

Still a great table... but with the price rising and the seller playing games, not sure I'd chase it for $500 though it is still below market. If I wasn't jonesing for one right this second, I think I'd pass though.

Hell, I got mine for free by buying a complete system that only cost $900, and selling off the other components I didn't want to keep for the same $900. Sometimes you just have to be patient, right? The deals are out there...

I think the pic on his listing IS your turntable. Appears to have come from this Romanian website: http://forum.turntablism.ro/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=139

I asked for pics of the actual turntable and accessories and haven't heard back.

FWIW, this same guy listed a Sony STC-7000 a couple weeks ago for $100. The pic on that listing was from this site: http://www.audio-kontakt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=36832

He's also got a running CL feud with somebody.

Caveat emptor.

Definitely not my picture/table. I've never had a white faced Grado cartridge on mine - which I wish I had noticed before. Would have been a bit of a "red flag" as only Audio Technica carts were mentioned in the ad.

I should pay closer attention. :)

It's definitely fishy. Never did hear back on my request for more pics.
